Job posting rules

So that job seekers can apply with confidence, every job on Arubaito follows these rules. We review each job before it goes live.

Jobs you can post

  • It is a job you are really hiring for. Each listing covers one workplace and one role.
  • Pay, hours, location and duties are accurate. Update the listing as soon as anything changes.
  • The same job is not posted more than once.
  • The listing is closed as soon as the position is filled.
  • Photos show your real workplace or company. The two required photos must be real; label any illustrative image as such in its caption.

Jobs you cannot post

  • Jobs that ask job seekers to pay anything, such as registration, training or deposit fees.
  • Listings with no real job behind them, such as ads that only invite people to a registration event.
  • Jobs whose duties or conditions differ from reality, or are described in a misleading way.
  • Work that breaks, or may break, the law.

For staffing agencies

If you recruit dispatched workers, these points apply in addition to the rules above. Read the guide for staffing agencies

  • Register as a staffing agency and enter your worker dispatch licence number. Your jobs go live after we check the number in the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare register.
  • Post dispatch jobs with the employment type 派遣社員 (dispatch worker). The job page then shows that it is a dispatch job, who the employer is and your licence number.
  • You do not have to name the client company. Give the city and nearest station so job seekers can judge the commute.
  • Dispatch on contracts of 30 days or less is prohibited in principle, so dispatch jobs cannot use dated slots (one-off or spot shifts).
  • Wording that assumes the client will interview and choose workers beforehand is not allowed, except for temp-to-hire (shōkai yotei haken). Offering a workplace visit is fine.
  • Until 30 days have passed without problems after your licence is checked, you can have up to 10 jobs live or in review at once.
  • A dispatch job runs for at most 30 days. When you extend or repost it, confirm the opening at that workplace is still live. Automatic scheduled reposting is not available.

How our review works

  • We check every job before it goes live.
  • If a job does not meet these rules, we ask you to change it or decline to publish it.
  • If we find a problem after publication, we may take the job down.
